Driftwood
Mid-depth and confident — neither washed-out nor heavy. The natural home for Driftwood is boot-rooms and back halls — and increasingly snugs and reading rooms. Pairs naturally with travertine, brushed brass and aged leather. Driftwood sits in our High-end Paint range with an undertone with heat in it, undertones of weathered-wood, and a character that's mineral and soft. It reads coastal modern in spirit without locking the room into a single period.
Best used in hallway, living
Mineral and soft reads its best where the light is even and natural. Below are the rooms we've installed this shade in most often.
- long corridors and landings

Questions clients ask about this shade
How does Driftwood change through the day?+
Mid-tones like Driftwood shift the most across the day — expect it to read slightly honeyed at golden hour and to settle into a deeper version of itself by evening.
What sheen options come in Driftwood?+
Driftwood is tinted into your choice of dead-matt, soft eggshell or low-sheen satin. For rooms with high handling — hallways, kitchens — we'd usually recommend eggshell.
What does Driftwood pair with from your range?+
We most often pair Driftwood with the three closest shades in its family — see the pairings panel below. Beyond that, sits comfortably alongside sandstone, exposed concrete and patinated metals.
