Microcement Flooring in Horsham

What a Horsham microcement floor involves
A floor is built in stages: the substrate is checked and prepared, a primer and mesh go down where needed, then base coats, finishing coats and a protective sealer. Colour is signed off on your own floor rather than from a small chip.
Expect around four to six working days on site for a typical floor. Light foot traffic is possible after 24 to 48 hours, with roughly seven days before full use, so plan furniture moves around that.
It is not the answer everywhere. Garages, workshops and plant rooms take hot tyres, oils and heavy point loads, and for those we specify a resin or epoxy system instead.
Colour choice matters more on a floor than people expect, because a large area reads darker than a sample. We lay test patches in your room, look at them in daylight and artificial light, and only then mix the full batch. We keep a record of the pigment and batch so any later repair matches.

- Usually. Sound, well-bonded tiles can be prepared and coated, avoiding a strip-out.

- Sweep or vacuum and clean with a pH-neutral cleaner. The sealer does the stain resistance.
