Service

Aftercare & Resealing

Maintenance, re-seal and refresh service for existing microcement and plaster surfaces.

Microcement is hard-wearing but not maintenance-free. Floors in daily use benefit from a re-seal every 5–7 years; walls usually go untouched. We provide a planned aftercare service for projects we installed, and a refurbishment service for microcement installed by other contractors.

What we do

  • Full re-seal of microcement floors and worktops — two coats of polyurethane sealer over a properly cleaned and lightly keyed surface.
  • Spot repair of chips, knocks and impact damage — colour-matched, blended, sealed.
  • Refresh of dulled high-traffic zones — kitchen islands, doorway thresholds, around shower drains.
  • Re-seal of limewash and Venetian plaster feature walls where required.
  • Condition assessment of microcement installed by other contractors, with a written report.

When to call us

  • It's been 5+ years since your microcement floor was installed.
  • You can see traffic patterns dulling the sealer in front of cabinets or sinks.
  • There's been a one-off damage event — dropped pan, dragged appliance, heavy impact.
  • You're moving into a property with existing microcement and want to know its condition.
  • You've had a poor installer and want a remediation quote.
For homeowners

Half-day to full-day visit depending on the area. We come in, work clean, and you can use the floor again 24 hours after we leave.

For developers

Planned aftercare programmes for managed estates and rental properties — scheduled annually, condition-reported, batch-resealed.

If you have microcement that someone else installed and you're not sure it was done right, we'll come and look. We'll give you an honest assessment — even if the answer is 'leave it alone, it's fine'.
