Specification Support

Spec sheets, NBS clauses, lead times and tech data for architects and designers.

We work alongside architects, interior designers and main contractors on residential and commercial projects across the South of England. Our specification support is what stops a beautiful design intent becoming an awkward technical query on site three months later.

What we provide

  • NBS-ready clause text for each finish in our range.
  • Manufacturer technical data sheets, slip-resistance ratings (PTV), and fire-classification documents.
  • LRV (light reflectance value) measurements for every colour you specify.
  • Substrate compatibility advice — what we can install over, what needs remediation first.
  • Lead-time information for bespoke colour matching and large-volume orders.
  • Sample boards in specifier quantities, branded with project reference.
For designers

Send us your scheme — colours, rooms, finishes — and we'll come back with a specification table you can drop straight into your specification document, plus a sample-board kit for the client presentation.

For specifiers

For NBS, we'll provide pre-written clauses and the supporting data. We're happy to be named or written as 'approved subcontractor' depending on procurement route.

For developers

For multi-unit schemes we provide unit-by-unit material take-offs, batch-tracking commitments, and an on-site mock-up programme before main install.

Mock-ups and site approvals

For projects above ~£40k we'll install a full-finish mock-up panel on site, in situ, for sign-off before main works. It's the difference between a finish that gets approved at the design table and a finish that gets approved in the actual lighting of the actual building.

FAQs

Common questions

Do you work directly with main contractors?+

Yes — we sub to main contractors regularly. We carry £5m public liability and £10m employer's liability cover, RAMS supplied per project, full CSCS-carded team.

Can you match a competitor's product?+

If you've specified a competitor microcement and want a comparable build at a different price-point, we'll be honest about whether ours is genuinely comparable. We don't pretend equivalence where it doesn't exist.

What about CDM 2015?+

We act as a contractor under CDM and provide construction phase plans, F10 notification support and competency evidence on request.
