Surrey
Larger-format residential work across Surrey — country houses, new-builds in Cobham and Esher, and gated-estate refurbishments.
Surrey work is bigger than London work, on average. Larger floor plans, ambitious new-builds in the Cobham–Weybridge–Esher corridor, country houses around Farnham and Haslemere, and a steady run of refurbishment in the gated estates around St George's Hill and Wentworth. Specifications tend to be specifier-led and longer in the planning — projects we quote in spring often start in autumn. The microcement here is usually whole-floor scale (300–600 m² runs), with hospitality-grade sealer specs to take family use across multiple receptions and back-of-house. The high-end-paint side is mostly designer-specified with a full colour list per house.
Edwardian country houses, 1930s mock-Tudor in the Esher belt, 21st-century gated-estate new-builds, equestrian and barn conversions in the Surrey Hills AONB.
Surrey interiors lean understated-luxury — Belgian-modern neutrals, oak and limestone, soft-matt paints, dark microcement floors with pale walls. Designers asking for hospitality-grade durability in a domestic context.
- Whole-house microcement floors over heated screeds.
- Microcement spa bathrooms and wet-rooms in basement extensions.
- Lime-finish feature walls in barn conversions.
- Full-house high-end paint schedules — typically 8–12 colours, designer-specified.
- Ruboflex roof refurbishments on tile-roof country houses.
A six-bedroom new-build in Cobham: microcement Pale Stone N5 across 420 m² of underfloor-heated ground floor, two microcement wet-rooms in Carbon N18, soft-matt high-end paint throughout the bedrooms in Pearl and Linen. Eight-week programme, working alongside the main contractor.
Surrey is within our standard service area — no travel surcharge for jobs within the M25 belt or along the A3 corridor. For larger-scale projects we'll set up on-site for the duration to keep the programme tight.
Will you work on a phased Surrey new-build?+
Yes — most Surrey new-builds are phased and we're used to working alongside the main contractor. We share a programme with the PM and slot in around joinery, electrical and second-fix windows.
Can you handle larger floor areas in one continuous pour?+
Yes — we routinely apply 300–600 m² of microcement floor in continuous runs without joints. Above 600 m² we'll introduce hidden movement joints in line with the slab's expansion joints.
Do you offer designer-only specification meetings?+
Yes — see our specification support service. We're happy to attend design meetings alongside the lead designer and architect during the spec stage.
